These fabulous blooms are so double, the flowers are more like fluffy balls with their deeply laciniated, pure white petals. These wonderful double and semi-double flowers are frilled with numerous finely cut petals giving a lovely frothy effect. Like other poppies, these are really easy to grow - direct sow in spring or autumn, just scatter the seeds through borders and along edges and wait for the beautiful flowers! Few flowers can equal poppies with their flowers produced in abundance throughout the summer. Sow and forget, nearly all will flower in the first year from sowing.

FLOWERING MONTHS: June to August
SOW OUTDOORS: March to May / August to September (for flowers the following year)
CARE TIPS: Protect from slugs and snails. They will self-sow.
They tend to resent root disturbance, so sow shallowly, directly into a well prepared bed in spring and water well. As the seedlings develop, thin them out to 30cm intervals keeping just the healthiest and most robust plants. Protect the emerging seedlings from slugs and snails. The seedheads can be dried and added to winter arrangements.
