The most beautiful spring partners, powder blue Muscari ‘Valerie Finnis’ and dainty Daffodil ‘Sailboat’. Blue and yellow pairing is a classic for spring, particularly when you use such pretty bulbs.
In each collection you will receive the following:
10 × Narcissus 'Sailboat'
Flowering in March to April, each stem can carry up to three sweetly scented flowers, so when planted en-masse, these jonquils not only look good, but smell great too. They have creamy white, windswept petals and a cup, which fades from butter to cream as it matures.
50 × Muscari 'Valerie Finnis'
Powder blue Grape Hyacinth is robust and strong, a compact, fragrant and densely flowering plant with a unique colour not usually found in Muscari. They're perfect for naturalising in a woodland garden, at the front of the border or in containers.
Garden care: In September to December plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq. After flowering deadhead and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month. Once the foliage has died down naturally lift the bulbs and store in a cool greenhouse.
