Compact plants produce graceful grey-green blades with elongated heads that turn a delicate cream colour and soften with time. Fluffy wands catch slightly in the breeze; plant en masse for a real show. It looks stunning in pots or in the border, but is equally prized by florists as cut flower.

Garden Care
Sow in trays or pots of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 15-18C at 6 mm deep. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed, spacing the plants 30cm apart.
