Approximately 130 Seeds
Cleome (Spider Flower) 'Colour Mix' has elegant flowers of white, pink and purple. They look good in the garden and mixed up together in a jumble in a large vase, or pick the individual colours separately for mixing with other things.
Cleomes are elegant and ethereal as well as being very long-lasting and statuesque. They are a must for the summer and autumn garden, going on flowering longer than all the other half-hardies in the garden.
Cleome germinates best with lots of temperature fluctuations from hot to cold, so sow early. The only downside to cleomes is their thorns, but they're easy to remove if you're using them as a cut flower.

Garden Care
For early flowers, sow under glass in late Winter or Spring. Plant seeds 1cm deep in a seed tray containing good compost and keep warm. When large enough to handle, pot on and harden off before planting outside. Alternatively sow thinly outside in a sunny bed after all risk of frost has passed. Thin to 45cm as they grow on. Avoid over-watering and ensure to dead-head regularly to keep the plants producing more flowers. Protect them from strong winds and frosts.
