SITE: full sun
FLOWERING MONTHS: June to October
SOW UNDER COVER/PLANT INDOORS: March to April
SOW DIRECT/PLANT OUTDOORS: April to May
CARE TIPS: Pinch out growing tip to encourage more side branches to form and keep picking regularly. It is very heat and drought tolerant and requires staking.
Start the seeds off under cover in early spring. Sprinkle onto moist compost, cover thinly and place somewhere bright and warm. Seedlings should appear within 2-3 weeks at 20°C. Transplant into individual pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on in cooler conditions and harden off before planting out after the last frosts. They may also be sown direct in late spring. They prefers a moist, fertile, humus-rich soil in a sunny but sheltered site
