Tightly packed umbels of 50 or more, white, star-shaped flowers appear on upright stems in early summer. Allium 'Mount Everest' is a tall Allium with an outstanding architectural form. It looks wonderful planted in a busy border or gravel garden, either alone or alongside Allium ‘Globemaster’.
HEIGHT: 120cm
SITE: full sun
FLOWERING MONTHS: June
BULB SIZE: 16/18
CARE TIPS: These are very perennial so plant them somewhere permanent. Removing the tatty foliage doesn't appear to affect the bulbs. Be sure to add grit if you have heavy soil.
Garden Care
Plant bulbs 15cm deep and 15cm apart to enjoy the full effect of the large flowers. Avoid excessive soil moisture and split and divide large clumps in autumn or spring.
